⚡ Job Classes

Jobs (also known as Classes) determine your character's abilities, skills, and playstyle in MapleStory Classic. Each job has unique strengths and weaknesses.

Job Progression[edit]

In MapleStory Classic, characters advance through job tiers:

Tier Level Requirement Description
Beginner Level 1 Starting class, no special abilities
1st Job Level 10 Choose between Warrior, Magician, Bowman, Thief, or Pirate
2nd Job Level 30 Specialize into a specific path
3rd Job Level 70 Advanced specialization
4th Job Level 120 Master your chosen path

Available Jobs[edit]

⚔️ Warrior[edit]

Weapon: Swords, Axes, Spears, Pole Arms

Role: Tank, Melee DPS

2nd Job Advancement:

Strengths: High HP, strong defense, melee damage

🔮 Magician[edit]

Weapon: Wands, Staves

Role: Magical DPS, Support

2nd Job Advancement:

Strengths: High magical damage, healing, buffs

🏹 Bowman[edit]

Weapon: Bows, Crossbows

Role: Ranged Physical DPS

2nd Job Advancement:

Strengths: Long range attacks, high accuracy, mobility

🗡️ Thief[edit]

Weapon: Daggers, Claws

Role: High DPS, Mobility

2nd Job Advancement:

Strengths: High damage, fast attacks, evasion

🔫 Pirate[edit]

Weapon: Guns, Knuckles

Role: Versatile DPS, Summoner

2nd Job Advancement:

Strengths: Versatile, summons, transformation

Job Advancement Quests[edit]

Each job advancement requires completing specific quests:

1st Job (Level 10)[edit]

Visit your job instructor to begin the advancement quest:

2nd Job (Level 30)[edit]

Complete more challenging quests at El Nath or Ossyria

3rd Job (Level 70)[edit]

Advanced trials and skill tests

4th Job (Level 120)[edit]

Final mastery quest for ultimate power
